  1. How do you take care of yourself physically?
  2. How do you take care yourself emotionally/mentally?
  3. What boundaries do you set to take care of yourself?
  4. Consider this quote: “The [one] who is wise, therefore, will see their life as more like a reservoir than a canal. The canal simultaneously pours out what it receives; the reservoir retains the water till it is filled, then discharges the overflow without loss to itself ... Today there are many ... who act like canals, the reservoirs are far too rare ...” - St. Bernard of Clairveaux (1090-1153).

After reviewing the Self-Care Wheel, taking the assessment and/or completing the blank wheel -

  1. What was this process of navigating the wheel like for you?
  2. Were you surprised by any of the information? If so, which ones?
  3. What ideas did you find on the wheel that you liked/did not like?
  4. What are the things that you found realistic/not realistic to implement?
  5. What are some of the barriers or challenges to implementing these practices?
